Racquel Lyons, M.Psy.
Racquel Lyons, M.Psy. is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, community mental health, schools, and inpatient care. Racquel specializes in working with children and adolescents, as she is passionate about helping young people navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. She brings a warm, relational presence to her work and partners closely with families to support growth both in and outside of the therapy room. Her clinical approach draws from psychodynamic, relational, and structural frameworks, with a strong emphasis on insight and emotional understanding. In addition to her work with youth, Racquel also has experience supporting individuals across the lifespan through mood and personality disorders, disordered eating, and life transitions. She has a special interest in trauma-informed care and long-term therapeutic work. Above all, she is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and understood.
