Kathleen Franzwa, LPC
Kathleen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Family Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Indiana University. She has experience working in a variety of clinical, social service, and community-based settings, including outpatient mental health practices, counseling centers, youth mentoring programs, child advocacy organizations, and family service agencies.
Kathleen takes a collaborative, culturally responsive approach to therapy and values understanding the broader systems that affect individuals and families. She has a special interest in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD and other neurodivergence. Kathleen uses a person-centered, strengths-based, and goal-focused approach, with an emphasis on building supportive and meaningful therapeutic relationships.
