Chase Breimeier, LCSW

Chase Breimeier, LCSW, earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. After working as a hospital social worker, Chase transitioned to community mental health, where he spent over four years as a therapist serving individuals with serious and persistent mental illness many with extensive trauma histories and complex presentations. He currently works with adolescents and adults and specializes in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, substance use, low self-esteem, and negative self-talk. He has a trauma-informed, individualized, and collaborative approach, drawing on various evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, he has received advanced training and demonstrated expertise in EMDR, a trauma-focused therapy that uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or alternating tapping, to help individuals process distressing or traumatic memories.
