Cara Judkins, PsyD
Cara Judkins, PsyD, earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Judkins has experience working in private practice, community mental health, school, eating disorder treatment, college counseling, and forensic settings. She works with individuals; couples and groups presenting with a variety of mental health concerns and conducts psychological assessment with adolescents and adults. Dr. Judkins draws from psychodynamic and relational cultural approaches to therapy, incorporating structured approaches and clinical hypnosis for anxiety management as needed. Dr. Judkins values empathically supporting people of all backgrounds across the lifespan to foster deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships and their life. Her clinical interests include depression, trauma, identity development, relationship challenges, Black mental health, and long-term therapeutic work. Dr. Judkins is committed to creating a space where individuals feel seen, supported and empowered to grow.
